Golden Globes 2023: Award wins Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu – SS Rajamouli’s RRR
SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR made waves at the Golden Globes 2023. The film made history as it won Best Original Song for the infectious Naatu Naatu. However, the RRR did not manage to bag a win in the Best Non-English Language Film category. The award went to Argentina, 1985.
RRR’s Naatu Naatu was announced as the winner in the Best Original Song category. The award was accepted by M.M. Keeravani who had composed the track. The lyrics were penned by Chandrabose.
Composer MM Keeravani, along with singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, has won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, for the track “Naatu Naatu,” which became an anthem of sorts for fans of director SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The historical epic has also been nominated in the Best Non-English Language Film category at the 80th Golden Globes.
