पृथ्वी से चंद्रमा तक 3.84 लाख किलोमीटर का सफर तय करने के बाद चंद्रयान-3 का लैंडर विक्रम चंद्रमा की धरती पर कामयाबी के साथ उतर गया। इसी के साथ भारत चांद पर सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग करने वाला रूस, अमेरिका और चीन के बाद दुनिया का चौथा देश बन गया है। वहीं, चंद्रमा के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग करने वाला दुनिया का पहला देश बन गया है।
लैंडर (विक्रम) और रोवर (प्रज्ञान) से युक्त लैंडर मॉड्यूल ने शाम 06.04 मिनट पर चंद्रमा के दक्षिणी ध्रुवीय क्षेत्र पर सॉफ्ट लैंडिंग की।
लैंडर से संपर्क बना
इसरो ने चंद्रमा पर उतरते समय चंद्रयान-3 के लैंडर हॉरिजॉन्टल वेलोसिटी कैमरे द्वारा ली गई चंद्रमा की तस्वीरें जारी कीं। इसरो ने बताया कि चंद्रयान-3 के लैंडर और MOX-ISTRAC, बेंगलुरु के बीच संचार लिंक स्थापित हो गया ।

- Vladimir Putin congratulates India on Chandrayaan-3’s successful landing on Moon. Russian president Putin congratulated India’s President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the successful landing of the Indian space probe Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon near its South Pole.
“Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the successful landing of India’s Chandrayaan-3 space probe on the Moon near the South Pole.
